For Aukland NZ, my thinking was the climate would make it easy to work (I often work outdoors) and hopefully make a ton of cash too, spending all my planned time off in places like northern parts of Australia, Fiji, Indonesia or southeast Asia.
The total absence of heat in Auckland is ideal for working outside.

true, but I'm guessing you'll get sick of the mundane temps and cloud. IMO Auckland is one of the climatoligical disasters of the world.
To put it in perspective, their summer highs are barely warmer than Londons!

On the far north side of town, they had some flooding yesterday, but remember, Houston is HUGH so when TWC says there is flooding in Houston, it's usually not all over.
