There was another inch (slightly more in places) of snow in my city in the morning, still mostly there but thawing out into a thick slush.

Temperature: 0.7c/33.3f
Minimum: -2.8c/27f

In its first five days the average temperature here for february is still just below freezing! This is about 4c below average and given that December and January were both below average this is our coldest winter for many years after a string of very mild winters. Could also end up the snowiest for many years especially in the south.

Cold again 48 counties out of 54 had 2 hour delays or are closed. We were not one. It is 16F out and the wind chill is 4F.
