AN OUTBREAK OF TORNADIC STORMS A GOOD LIKELIHOOD . . . . .

A major frontal system will pass through the area overnight. Along and ahead of this system we will see an outbreak of severe weather. It is a rare event, however the Storm Prediction Center has put us under a moderate to high risk for severe weather. It is likely that we will see some hail, damaging winds and tornadic storms. Some of the tornadic storms may produce significant tornadoes. What are significant tornadoes?? The type that are on the strong end of the scale. The best likelihood for the severe weather will be from 2 pm to 2 am. Not everybody will get severe weather, however a lot of the area will.
