For something a little difference in reference to dream climates I decided to do an expierenment. What I did was use wikipedia and other weather sources to track the average January and July temperature of my dream climate across eastern North America. In certain areas such as western Texas this was hard to do due to lack of records, while the sources for various cities I looked at didn't always agree. But in the end it turned out pretty good.

Try putting yours in, Using North America, Europe, Australia etc.

Cool but what I'm talking about is drawing a line across Europe or North America representing the average January temperature of your dream climate and one for the average July temperature of your dream climate.

the northern line is for the January temperature, the southern for July..

I left out Russia, since it's too difficult due to missing date.. I'm also very unsure considering the russian part of Lapland..
but you can see that summers are pretty good in most of Scandinavia (i left out scotland and ireland here, too), while winters are only as cold as my dream climate in the continental, northern part of Lapland..

Mine is easy... any place that has an "A" climate according to Koppen which includes the majority of places between the tropics of cancer and capricorn with some exceptions both inside and out. In North America, only the Southern tip of Florida would qualify.

Ya it's too bad the nice warm tropical heat is so far from Canada.

um can you shade in the overlaping areas. I'm not sure which area is suppose to be outside or inside.

The coasts are borders, and the only places who are within the both acceptable boundaries is that strip in southern Ukraine and Russia. This narrow green-dotted area:

I tried to be quite strict, as many places have good enough summers, as in around 21C mean temps in July and not too dry. I don't fancy real dry mediterranean climates (or too hot). So most of Spain, Italy and Greece is out of the question.
