I find biking in 30°C weather is enjoyable too. Probably even more than walking with the induced breeze. Ahh summer.

30C, and I'd prefer to run at 30C as well.

Sounds awful. I would be dripping in sweat and at risk of becoming ill. 30 F would pose less of a risk. But each to his own I suppose.

The 30C is in the shade though, just carry a water pack and you'd be fine.

I have, I don't remember it being that fun. But the humidity was also not low. I ran in a thunderstorm a couple times when I was in high school.

I learned the formula back in school. I know what's what so I won't ruin these threads. But here I'll honestly say 30F. Which is extremely cold, but I like it cold. I grew up in a desert. As David Spade once said; I spent my childhood looking for shade.

Ditto. Not quite 30°C, but maybe a high of 27-29°C, depending on location.

Summer 2013 Photo Thread
Reminds me of the good old days as a kid when I used to live in New Hyde Park, NY. On a sunny, warm, and dry 30 C weekend when my extended family visits, we would pack up and head to Jones beach by 4 PM. We usually made it back home around 11 PM after thoroughly spending the evening walking the entire 7 mile length of Ocean Parkway enjoying the fresh ocean breeze. It usually starts out at 30 C and falls to 20 C by the time we finish the walk.

Wish I could visit that place again. However, now Jones Beach is too far from where I live. The closest beaches are Point Pleasant or Sandy hook, which are both currently in rebuild and recover mode.

30 F is usually the coldest night of the year here and I walk my dog in the morning at around 7AM when the coldest temperature occurs. It's really not bad in the sun. I also routinely walk my dog in summer around 6PM. During the hottest days of summer, it is still 30 C or even warmer at 6PM. I prefer 30 F because I like to look at the frost on the roofs and grass, see my breath puff in front of me, and breath the cold crisp air. It's a novelty here since we only get 3 or 4 frosts a winter. Closest thing we get to snow.

Well, since you plan to visit NYC, you will discover how cold gets old after a while. I was assuming 30 F highs, which was the reason for whining so much. Lows in the 30's are not too bad.
