The difference between January and July is the same. If London is only slightly warmer than Paris in winter, then Paris is only slightly warmer than London in July (19c average, not 18).
still 1.5C warmer on average. to put it into perspective, london's july average is as close to gothenburgs as it is to paris.
I happen to think of it as an 'upgraded' London's climate.
Paris has incredibly crappy sunshine hours compared to Seattle. Summer high temps are essentially identical to Seattle but lows are a bit warmer in Paris, probably because of incessant cloud cover.

Probably more to do with the colder Pacific Ocean. I would take Seattle summers, but Paris for the rest of the year, so overall Paris just about wins.
Paris obviously, but it's like prefering a microwave pizza with extra cheese over a regular microwave pizza when you know you could go to the restaurant.
