Also, check out the average highs from NOWData rather than Wikipedia. The only month of the year Knoxville is fractionally warmer is February.

Hmmmm, interesting. I thought it was the other way around honestly, with Nashville's farther west position.

Well Knoxville is about 300 ft higher, so I guess that makes a slight difference.

True, and I would assume Nashville has a much bigger UHI effect than Knoxville.

I agree 100%. The cold snaps definitely suck, but every subtropical climate has their drawbacks to me.

You clearly don't know much about Mediterranean climates so I'd stop before you make yourself look even more foolish

And by the way this thread was about "Climates you envy" Not frig yourself off over your own climate using ridiculous & superfluous over the top drivel that normally comes from the cold epoch troll

Climates that I envy are mostly in Hawaii. Honolulu is almost ideal, but I'd take coastal Maui, Big Island & anywhere on Kaui too...
Well you came at me so I responded, would you take the really wet spots in Hawaii too? I envy places in the US south that are warmer than me is all. I would love to live on the coast.

Yeah, really like the sunny days.

Personally I love the coast of mid California. The Bay area. Love the cloud cover from the ocean that keeps mornings and evenings cooler but then will burn off for a sunny day.

Well, whatever. I'll steer this thread back on track..

I envy Turku, because winters are cold and snowy (most of the time), and summers are sunny.
