But continental climates appeal to me nowadays aswell.

After a cold winter the first 20°C day will feel special.
To have cold but sunny winters followed by nearly tropical summers with plenty of heat is nice.

Well a 20C day happens right in the middle of winter here and in St. Louis. St. Louis had a 22C day in February 2015, followed by a 20C day and then 4 days later a day with a high of -2C. Such is life in winter in the Midwest and here. So, it would be nice if all winter long was just cold and stayed that way without a lot of ups and downs and then when Spring came it came on full force. If only.

Most certainly compare to here. And I love the amount of rainfall in Tofino, coupled with the summer dry season.

Same thing for me!

Maybe if the opportunity arises, you should pack your bags from cold snowy New Brunswick to temperate rainy Tofino!

I'm jealous of Santiago's climate, they're a bit colder in the winter but they warm up so quickly in the spring! Whereas Valpo has excelled winters but sort of lags behind in September and October

This. Few things enrage me more than thunderstorms derping their way around me or dying right in the ass just as they come into view. I used to live in a place which was continually assaulted by seabreezes and cold fronts while similar climates nearby were torched.

I am envious of Phoenix and the deserts of California. One of the best climates in the world.

I should especially with the possibility of another below normal winter. Thought I need a city, I think that Victoria or Vancouver is my best bet.

That's a typical day in Lexington.

The west coast of New Zealand's South Island for it's massive rainfall and the south coast/coastal Otago for the cloudy weather although this varies greatly from year to year.
