This is not a fictional but a real summer month i fact it was one of the warmest Julys we had ever experienced with 4 degrees C /8 degrees F above average.
I'm adding the sunshine hours here as well, this month was one of the sunniest months with 276.6 hours of sunshine.
What do you think, i'm also interested in the opinion of warm lovers who like mediterranean summers, which that month mostly had- except for three or four days.
Some days are way too hot, but most seem OK. Here is a perfect A + summer in my opinion. This amazing college town is 141 miles north of where I live and is home to Cornell university, where I hope to do my graduate school in Engineering:
I don't like the way the highs go up and down like a yoyo. A small amount of days are too hot, a larger amount of days are too cool. The average lows are alright but certain nights could be a bit warmer. Also the month is too dry and doesn't have enough steamy heavy showers.
Average is the same as July here, but we would have more warm nights (above 20C) and highs below 20C are uncommon in July. It would fit better in June if the days were reversed. I'd prefer a little cooler and wetter, remove a few hot days and double the precipitation and I'd give it an A. Here it's a B.
E for Egregious. It has every summer demerit I can think of.
-Lack of thunderstorms
-Nights below 70F
-Days below 82F
-Days above 95F
-Days with greater than 18 degrees diurnal range
I agree with your criticisms just don't think that they should weigh so much as the avg for the month is nice. but overall I give it a C-
