B. To dry especially in the winter. Summers are surprisely decent, hotter than I expected for Sydney.
Like the LA basin, the inland parts of Sydney are much warmer and drier because of little ocean moderation. For the same reason they also have cooler nightly lows, especially in the winter. Penrith, which is much further inland (than Prospect), peaks at 30C (86F) in the summer and is even drier.
Judging from the comments above, the consensus is that Prospect is too 'dry' and 'hot', although one person said it's "excessively wet" - which are all extreme conclusions. The summer average barely reaches 30C (86F), annual rainfall is in the 800mm range and winters are around 16C-19C (61-66F). That's quite temperate, no?
It's rainfall, while not seasonal, seems rather mild to moderate all year round (akin to Rome, Beirut, Haifa) - definitely not too dry for me (or too wet).
