Puerto Penasco
or
East London, Eastern Cape

These are the warmest coastal climates I could find more than 30 degrees from the equator. If there are any others you know of that are warmer (coastal only), I'd be interested.

A couple of very good climates. I think I'll chose East London as Puerto Penasco is way too dry. Plus summers are too hot.

Puerto Penasco. Although the record highs quoted in the wiki article in the winter months are 99% likely to be false.

Not an easy decision, but East London gets my vote. Comfortable all year round and I like some rain rather than none.

I voted for Puerto Peñasco because I thought it was East London, UK. But after reading the climate data on East London in SA, I decided that one was better than Puerto Peñasco, which is ok, but too, too deserty.

Maybe the records. The normals shown in the article as the same as those given by Mexico's Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, so at least those are accurate.

Puerto Peñasco for sure... love that heat and dryness

btw, Bermuda at 32N has warmer winters than both and almost qualifies as a tropical climate
