I don't know... I keep seeing the "heat" show up in south central areas more than the south east.

I might be the only one thinking a central ridge is in the works and hot temps for central U.S Late Spring/Summer.

Unless its normal for Texas to get 90s first before Florida? Then this is all normal stuff I'm seeing and not something getting triggered.

Florida only in the 70s this afternoon?

San Antonio has the same average highs as Tampa in April and May, and I think it is more variable. Mind you, Miami has reached 90 at least twice so far this year.

Spring heats up quickly in Texas, surprisingly a couple of places in Texas even average over 90F in April,
like Presidio.

Except for Death Valley, no place in desert SW averages over 90F in April,
a few places come close, Bull Head City, AZ averages about 88F.

Latest forecast mid 70's Saturday, possibly upper 70's to near 80F (according to the RPM model) Sunday before the cold front hits. However, it now appears any precip will be rain and snow will be well to the north of Chicagoland...

8-10 days out any cold air early next week wont last

The dryness continues: just 0.5 mm of rain so far this month, forest fire danger will be quite high tomorrow.
