Do you guys actually feel a profound difference between temperatures slightly below freezing (-5 to 0 C) Vs. Temperatures slightly above freezing (0 to 5 C). For me, 30 F and 36 F feel more or less the same given the fact that both temperatures are experienced under similar sunshine amounts and humidity levels. However, some people make a big deal between 30 F vs 35 F stating that the latter feels much warmer. Same stuff occurs around 60 F. Most people say 59 F is chilly jacket weather, yet 61 F is warm T shirt weather. They both feel the same to me .

Lol in Florida it's like front page news to see whether you record a freeze or not. But no in terms of how it actually feels, not a big difference.

It all just depends. I've felt perfectly fine at temperatures in the 20s-F, but have felt frozen at temperatures in the 40s-F. I think many factors go into play with it all. However, let's just say that it is dry with no wind, I don't think there would be a whole lot of a difference in how it feels.

-5 and 0 feel very different to me. -5 is obviously far colder. +5 is likewise far milder than 0. But all are cold.

I tell by seeing if the rain is freezing on contact.

Not much difference.
It's the conditions that make the difference not so much actual temp.

I've felt horrible on a cold rainy windy 9C (48F) day, and fantastic on a -5C (23F) calm sunny day.

Depends on the humidity and the wind.

I agree, but under the same conditions, there isn't a discernible difference between 30F and 34F, to me at least. They're both cold.
