Only 40 pounds of dye is used, and it disipates in a couple of days.... It's supposed to be safe for fish. Now compare that to all the other garbage that's in the Chicago River, I think the fish have more to worry about.

Nice weather today, 19/4°C (66/39°F) and sunny. Public transit was free because of the pollution (mostly gone anyway). Lots of flowers.
