64-68 days in my area.
With regard to other parts of Estonia Tallinn 61.5 days, North East Estonia 72-73, westernmost Estonia with their "maritime" climate 42.5 days. Thus 90-100 days would be an exaggeration.

This doesn't really apply to me because we get 4 months straight with almost every day below freezing. SO it would be well over 100.

A better comparison would be amount of days where temp doesn't go warmer than -20C.

Last winter amount of days where temp didn't go above -20C:

December 2013: 15 days
January 2014: 8 days
February 2014: 4 days
March 2014: 1 day

Total for Winter 2014: 28 days

December was terrible. TERRIBLE.

Travel Companies had great business.

My uncle owns a house in Yuma and heads down there from November to April. It must be really bad.

Portsmouth itself doesn't even average 1 day, in December 2010 (coldest on record) Solent MRSC had just 3 ice days & in Southsea I recorded none, coldest day having a high of 1C. January 2010 had not a single ice day at Solent MRSC or indeed in Southsea... I have gone back through the Met Office Southsea station data & the average of ice days comes to 0.9 days (1976-2005 data used)...

Here in Malta there has never been an ice day, infact there has never been an ice night either

Record low daytime high (from Luqa) is 7C, recorded in 1956...

That's interesting! Just goes to show the difference the sea makes within like 8(ish) miles. Here in Waterlooville we had about 7 or 8 ice day in Jan 2010, I know this cus it said on the forecast at the time and snow didn't fully melt till mid feb, some of the snow men where still around well up till mid March. But in general I would argue an ice night is very rare up here to, perhaps about 5 - 10 good frosts a year. Icy days never happen most years!

Yes & those years that the data comes from (1976-2005) has quite a few cold winters in the mix too, so if you were using 1981-2010 data (impossible unfortunately as the weather station was closed in 2006) I expect the average would be around 0.5/0.6 days as even though 2009 winter was cold I didn't record any ice days that winter either...

52 for 2000-2013 period. I'm too lazy to calculate data for longer period.

Maximum below freezing is my #1 most hated weather condition.

Since the start of recording, Lexington has an annual mean of 18 days. There were 23 last winter.
