Thats close to an average winter for here. Would be very disappointed if I'd spent it in NYC, I thought they were guaranteed at least one 6"+ snowfall every year. A frost free November is almost unheard of here (1 in the last 25 years).
Summer has nice temperatures but looks a bit wet: however without sunshine figures or precipitation days its not easy to judge. March looks nice as long as it wasn't too cloudy.
Ignoring Sandy, it's a C+/B- year. The winters are still too cold, and the summer nights are too hot. I love the summer highs, but the lows are just far too humid and muggy. I think you're gonna have a great climate if you take first half of 2012 and the second half of 2015
