2012 was quite a year for hot weather records in the Midwest and I believe East as well

Thats close to an average winter for here. Would be very disappointed if I'd spent it in NYC, I thought they were guaranteed at least one 6"+ snowfall every year. A frost free November is almost unheard of here (1 in the last 25 years).
Summer has nice temperatures but looks a bit wet: however without sunshine figures or precipitation days its not easy to judge. March looks nice as long as it wasn't too cloudy.

2012's winter was bad kind of reminds of... well this year's winter.




It gets a C from me. I miss February 2015

Ignoring Sandy, it's a C+/B- year. The winters are still too cold, and the summer nights are too hot. I love the summer highs, but the lows are just far too humid and muggy. I think you're gonna have a great climate if you take first half of 2012 and the second half of 2015
