Its that pretty white stuff that falls slowly from the sky. You know, that white stuff that you can ski in, sled in, snowmobile in, etc, etc.

And Vegas gets snow too, albeit not often. So dont pretend youve never seen it. lol

Twelve inches in my front yard. I shoveled a path so my tires could get out of the driveway. Right when I finished, my neighbor's son got out the snowblower. I wished he'd have told me he was going to come out and do it so I wouldn't have this aching back. I pay him to clear my driveway.

OH no!!! That is a lot of snow. Your "aching back" comment really caught my attention. I just had back surgery Monday and I'm never shoveling snow again.

It's snowing and blowing here. Pay the neighbor kid? I have a 4 wheeler and I blade about 10 driveways and sidewalks when it snows. I've never charged anything to anybody. Neighbors are neighbors, not customers.

I hear you Elkhunter! I clear 4 or 5 driveways in my neighborhood with my snowblower and never charge anything. Don't even take money for gas, just being neighborly. Snowblower blew the drive wheel 2 snowfalls ago and a friend of mine comes down and does my driveway and the neighbors with his plow or tractor mounted snowblower for nothing until I get mine fixed.

That's what neighbors are about. Now, if we could figure out how to heat the driveway..........

I love snow... the problem with living in DC is that they always have snow in the forecast, and then it doesn't happen. When we get snow it's usually a surprise.

Very early this morning I was listening to the weather channel and they said it was snowing and they mentioned my town. We rarely get mentioned cause we're a small community in comparison to a lot of the country. The thing that was so strange about it was the fact that all we got was a light dusting of snow. Sometimes we have feet of snow and don't get a mention.
