Default Snow

We had a bit of snow through late afternoon and evening. It has stopped now and is actually kind of pretty out~if you like that sort of thing. It was predicted and wasn't supposed to be much of a snowfall. I'm just greatful that it was so late in the year. We could've had snow three months ago already.

Dan, a member here that is from our area has already warned us about things not being good here on Sat. I believe our local station mentioned something about a 100% chance for snow in this area. From what I understand 6-10 inches are forecast.

How is everyone else doing for snow?

I also have snow predicted for Saturday, but nowhere near 100% chance. I think they're saying there is a chance of a light accumulation of snow. I would definitely like to see some here, though, since we had almost none last winter (and not much rain either).

Very nice pics, Tarastomsgirl. I wish that kind of snow blew into the NYC area.
Sunday's forecast calls for a Wintry mix, with some snow early on. Can't wait.

Those were lovely pictures. I wish we could get some snow here for a change. It has been a long time since we have had pure snow. Ice yes, but not snow.

Our temp today is supposed to be 65 and tomorrow it is supposed to hit 73. This is Dec and our temps will not stay down! A cold front is supposed to move into the area Saturday, I am thinking this is the same system that will be bringing you guys snow, it will bring us stormy conditions with possible tornados. THen after the front moves out, we will only see temps fall for highs into the 50's. Sheesh, I am thankful for the rain, and should not complain about the cold or lack of because then we will probably be hit with a super duper ice storm in late Jan or Feb. So, I will hush up before I jinx us.

EWWWW~kind of an ugly morning here. First we had snow, then sleet, then a bit of rain and it's supposed to continue throughout the day. Not sure how it's raining, but it may have something to do with temps further up. Since it's after 10 am., it's warmed up here a bit. It's 23/Winchill 10. Anybody wanna trade locations?

Tek, that sounds awful, too. I saw that you guys further south are getting mostly ice. We're back to snow for the moment.

The weather map on TWC is absolutely unbelievable. Not many areas of the country that would be nice to be in today.
