Richmond NSW is the better climate, I don't like cold winters.

Richmond VA has rather cool nights for like 5-6 months, though. Richmond AUS nights are cold for only 3 months.

Both have long summers and are too warm year round.

Richmond, VA easily for more seasonality, higher humidity year round, greater rainfall, and having at least a little snowfall. It's also located in the Blue Mountains :: which are gorgeous year round but particularly in autumn.

Richmond, Virginia, for colder winters, snow, and more defined seasons.
