Are Ipswich's summers as nice as they look on paper by the way? Ipswich might be my preferred location if I ever was to move to England because of its climate and the right-leaning politics of the area.

Oh not all this bull**** again.

London and SE England are warmer than anywhere in Sweden in summer - end of discussion.

Most summers are fine (Spring time is very hit and miss) - it's also nice to lay out without too much intensity -- when the sun is too strong (around June) i tend to aim for shade . Don't like to burn if i can help it .

It's that mid October to mid March that can drag on because of the gloom .

I hate grey days and prefer the darkness .

Yes ,the town is very LEFT wing (Traditional Labour ) it's a town not to everyone tastes but in an otherwise quite nice rural area - the outlying areas are RIGHT wing

What climates do you like ?

that may only be because of the sun angle and strength of the sun (possibly) otherwise Stockholm has a good a summer as anyway imo - looks fine to me .

Colchester looks more suitable for you, right-leaning as well.

The only person from there I've ever known from Colchester was a Chav. But it does seem quite middle-class overall.

I don't mind the short days in winter. A long chilly night is better than a gloomy grey sky.
