Hopefully it'll be a close series, maybe a 2-3 either way. Just because recent ashes series have been pretty one sided.

Are you culturally appropriating the English razza?

During the summer (even with the average temperatures) upstairs at night the temperature would be as high as 30C/86F, I needed the bedroom window wide open & a fan on to sleep, I also used to keep the loft hatch open so the heat could escape through the roof.

My house in the UK never felt as cold as my place does here during the winter, because homes here are also designed for the heat & to stay cool, despite the much warmer winters...
When I was at HMS Sultan in Gosport, the room I was in was on the top floor and it was absolutely unbearable in summer. It was south facing, and the windows would only open about 3 inches.
It must've been 30C+ in there for weeks!

It's the England and Wales cricket team. Although they just call it England.

Oh, I didn't know that! Do Welsh people like supporting "England" then or is it reluctant?

Most don't seem to mind it, some Welsh players have represented the team over the years. One of the best players, who was captain for years, is half-Welsh.

same here...

houses are not built the same in the Spanish mediterranean coast, the south or central-south of Spain compared to central Spain and specially the north of Spain, where all houses have heating.

well, specially where I live for it's location the house doesn't get very cool in winter, at least my room, normally stays at 17-18ºC in January for the 2h of sunshine which my room gets (the terrace obviously gets as much sunshine as the day can offer, but my room has another houses in front). Luckily here our rainy season it's the autumn when it's still warm outside, so I have the windows opened practically all of the year unless on rainy moments and on winter nights and mornings. Well, if the predicted low temperature is under 14-15ºC I just turn down my rolling shutters on the night but the windows remain opened.

I keep my windows opened in all of the winter if it's sunny or sunny and cloudy, if it's cloudy or rainy obviously not, although after the sun shines I close the windows in order to maintain the heat

in Netherlands the same... in my house in Rotterdam in a +27ºC day it feels extremely muggy inside that you need to have all of the doors and windows opened in order to make airstreams inside of the house

here for example now we have 26ºC outside, the sun shines near my room and at this hour I would be wearing a t-shirt and even long pajama pants (but very thin ones), my room temperature is 25ºC and it feels perfect with that combination!
