Average sun is more important than getting thunderstorms.

Only 18c now, after a high of 21c.
Toss up for me. Sun gets boring and I'm not a sun worshipper. I hate sunscreen. I love thunderstorms. I don't even go to the beach till after 4pm. So boring just sitting in sun. As long as it's warm sun isn't as important.

Having no sun forecast for 4 straight days is unprecedented in summer. Normally we wouldn't have that many completely overcast days for the entire summer!
I don't like the dreaded stalled front which happens here sometimes in summer. A Canadian high over New England and a hot subtropicsl high over the Southeast. We end up with low pressure stuck over us for days sometimes sandwiched in between. I don't like that cause it is wet too.

We need sun more than anything. We can't even get average these days.

Wattisham is near you, right? That's 20% above average sun for the month already with half the average rainfall and 2.9C warmer than average, you've had it better than almost everywhere apart from parts of the south coast.

I use Leeming for my local sunshine totals (got to take about 10% off though) and Bingley for everything else, looks like sun/rain are going to be very slightly above average, temps close to 2C above.

Scotland looks terrible even by their standards, whole swathes of the country likely to end up with 200% average rainfall and a lot of places not reaching 100 sun hours
Bergen also has an awfull month. 26 days in row (June 1.-26.) with at least some rain, new record for consecutive rain days in June. Total rain days record is 29 days.
And, as expected, very little sun.

Not that bad here in Trondheim, but sun is below average.

Temps look comfortably above average for June month here. Sunshine looks pants, although there are question marks over our sun readings since the Met office don't report them on their website. Can't be too far off though, a warm month but certainly not a sunny one.

This June appears similar to 1989 here. July 1989 was quite a warm month, while August 1989 was very average.

lol, Heathrow was warmer than a normal July or August month. +3.0ºC above the average, although Weybourne wins it with +3.2ºC, but it's cooler than Heathrow.
