Yeah, looking a bit above average until the middle of next week. Just hope GFS is wrong with its outlook - low pressure centred on the UK again.
I think today was a happy medium - not too warm for heat haters, but warm enough for the heat lovers. Yesterday was okay, but a bit warmer than I'd like.

Still 28.4c at 8pm in western germany and a dew point of 18c. Holy smokes, i can't wait for it to cool down. Indoor temperature above and beyond 30c. On top of that no thunderstorm here, while the central part is being hammered.
Where are these bloody thunderstorms that we were supposed to get today?
I've had to sit out in the sun all day drinking various beers, whilst waiting for that distant rumble of thunder that never happened.
There were some monster anvil clouds with overshooting tops on our northern horizon about 2 hrs ago; they've gone now so I guess they're heading your way. They looked about 35-40k ft.

They'll probably turn around and head back towards you. I don't think they like the north.
Even Scotland had storms today!
Someone posted this screenshot from East Anglia on Netweather. Over 200 strikes/min during the peak intensity, along with golf ball-sized hail.
