Would be the coldest since January 2013 or February 2012.

Spain is preparing for the worst cold wave since 2012. The airport of Almería hasn't seen any temperature under 4ºC since 2012, and the minimum predicted for tomorrow is of 3ºC.

Tomorrow night will be the coldest day in many parts of Spain since the cold wave of 2012, specially on the eastern and south coasts. For Valencia is predicted just 0-1ºC, the airport will probably touch -2ºC.

Anyways just for 2 days will be cold, but until the sunday-monday the temps will remain cool for the maximums, the minimums will be slightly below average, but the maximums quite below average.

Temps in Europe now...

wow so many times this year Italy is in a sea of blue... is this one of the coldest year from the past years, right?

meanwhile in Spain is hard to believe that in just 24h the things will change dramatically... normal night now, but tomorrow night Spain will be also in a sea of blue!

If you want persistent mild weather, come to the British Isles, or more specifically, Ireland. There's never any blues there.

Super windy here, at least by our standards. Probably around 60 km/h winds now, and feels very dry. Overcast but with pretty high clouds, and a good visibility.

Very strange for here, reminds me a lot of a French february day. I enjoy it a lot I have to say.

How can a place at 41 latitude have a record low of just -1C?

Check it bro. At least in the last 30 years... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barcelona#Climate

Same as a place at 37ºN which never had trace of freeze... (Almería)

Anyways, that's the station of the city of Barcelona. As any other station from the city it has UHI. The airport has seen even -7ºC (btw the airpot is influenced by the thermal inversion).
