Time for a hot weather climate battle to see what the cold weather lovers will pick

I think I will go for Oranjestad as the summer highs in Mecca are a bit too hot for me

Almost anywhere beats Mecca for me. Except maybe a place like Dallol. So Oranjestad, easily.

These climates are also torturous for rain lovers.

Oranjestad wins because it is cooler and not as dry.

Mecca is a city with one of the world's highest mean temperature at 30.7c. Definitely Oranjestad. Sounds a lot like where I live.

Oranjestad. Mecca is far too hot, although it would be nice to visit.

Oranjestad seems more "human". The downside of hot climates is that they are often deprived of cooler weather (like equatorial climates), while cold climates almost always have warm months (expect Barrow, Nuuk, Longyearbyen, Antarctica, northern Nunavut and places very near the North Pole)
