Here are my summer months at my closest city weather station (Baltimore). Summer here has been a bit cooler than average based on the long term data from my local NWS station.

June: 28.6C/17.5C, 10 wet days.
July:30.1C/18.1C, 10 wet days.
August: 27.0C/16.6C,7 wet days.

I don’t think they have sunshine hrs. Our average sunshine hrs in my area are around 280 in the summer months.

First time having 2 days in a row of 84F or warmer since July 22-23!

Last time we had 3 in a row was end of June to July 3rd!

Tomorrow will make 3.

ironically that is exactly the LRC cycle. (57 day pattern) We're back in.

Breezy day in Florida. 21mph NE wind in Jacksonville, 17 in Daytona. Would've felt a lot better than that hot west wind when I was down there...

Breezes are nice when it's warm and muggy. Takes the edge off. Here's a look at the current wind speeds. I added 2 of the OBSs on map

Makes a big difference. Last week had wind from the NW, sending down 95F air straight from the interior! Of course the high pressure and very sparse cloud cover wasn't helping things.
