An A all the way for being a well balanced four seasons climate.

A solid B.

Very nice summers...at least much better than here. There's no cooling wind when it's hot here but instead a heating wind...so a dry 30C here feels hotter than a humid 30C with a cooling breeze.

I live in Philly only an hour away and love it. Being able to drive down to the beach in less than an hour is pretty awesome. The summers are warm leaning toward hot. The sea breeze keeps it cooler than the city, but perfect for laying out and hanging out on the ocean. It has four seasons but I see that as a positive, not negative.

A Climate.

Moderated breezy summers, and winters still see decent amounts of snow.

Also a great place to gamble .

I've been to Atlantic City once, drove there, just over 500 miles.
I remember having to drive thru Philly to get there, lucky for me the
weather was great for late October, sunny and highs in the low 70s. Boardwalk was cool.

C. Too hot but better than places like North Carolina, which get a D from me.

D: It's too hot in the summer (even the lows are far too hot). The winters are warmer than I would prefer, but they are comfortable. Precipitation is perfect and sunshine hours (considering they are being measured in the US way) are not that bad.
Snowy days are few but I don't really care about that. It's not that bad, however.

You could have bypassed Philly with 476-S. I definitely like going to AC when the weather's cooler. Probably fewer people, I hate being on the boardwalk in the daytime when it's hot, and the boardwalk stays open for the most part in the off-season. (And of course the casinos do as well.) In the summer, I go elsewhere, usually Wildwood.

When you live in Philly, particularly S. Philly or areas near the river, the drive to AC is even less than an hour. I can be there in around 50 minutes in the off season. An even better beach is Island Beach State Park. That is only 55 miles as the crow flies from Philly, but it takes around an 1.5 hours on local roads. Beautiful white sand and blue water.

I only like AC because the rooms are cheap and there's lots to do. My 3 year old loves the beach and also the Rain Forest Cafe, the fountain show at the Caesar Pier Shops, etc. plus there is always something to do (she likes walking the boardwalk late at night and seeing "funny" people lol). Plus its only a 15 min drive to Ocean City (for the rides), and Storybook Land (a tiny amusement park for 2-8 year olds).

It has changed a lot. My moms family is from Ireland but they immigrated to AC than Philly. Some family still lives in Egg Harbor Township. They owned a bar but most left when it got bad through the 80s and 90s. Now everything is a lot safer and brand new. My favorite is the Tropicana. They have awesome shopping, restaurants, bars, etc and its in the middle of everything.
