It's weird how little the September high changed, compared to everything else.

I worked out maximum temperature averages for the summers from 2000-2013 for London.. it shows how poor the last 7 years have been.. the warm 2013 July saved the 7 year average from being even lower. 5/7 of the past July's have been below average.

2007-2013

May 18.3C (+0.3C)
June 21.2C (+0.2C)
July 23.2C (-0.3C)
August 22.6C (-0.6C)
September 19.9C (-0.1C)

2000-2006

May 18.1C (+0.1C)
June 22.1C (+1.1C)
July 24.0C (+0.5C)
August 23.7C (+0.5C)
September 21C (+1.0C)

It seems like the recent trend is for better early summer weather

Unhappy to be going back to work today, after nearly two months off.

It's going to be a shock to the system. I might put it off until tomorrow.

What percentage/how many hours of the last three days do you think it has rained for?

Have you been to the theme parks or water parks yet?

Any ides of the total for that 5 hours? If I don't have access to a rain gauge, I just leave a coffee cup out.

What about the beach? Have you been there much?
