Well I don't use credit cards and my parents pay for everything with money they actually have. There are lots of people who have lots of cars that they obviously can't afford.

We would never buy something above our means.. Whats the point in getting in debt?

If getting in debt meant you could leave the hellhole of Ulster would you do it?

That's a truly worthless question when you've understood just to what extent our current system revolves around debt. I'm trying to put this as nicely as possible, but you just don't understand the reality of it.

Well that's not my problem. I don't buy things that I can't afford to try and impress other people.

Well my parents do have credit cards but only because you need to have them.

Like it's alot of hassle paying a hotel with debit card, for example.
Plus credit cards provide some insurance etc if something happens.

I saw my mother declare bankruptcy when I was 17 thanks to her credit card debt - but given she was quite poor it was often a means to an end.

She advised me never to get one, and I never did. I get by without one.

I have been getting invitations to get credit cards from companies and since seeing the rate of interest I've decided not to bother either.

Although it's really hard to pay some things without one..
