On the SE coast of England and it's been cold since I've been here apart from one day, Tuesday, I think! With wind it actually feels colder than Buxton! That's the problem in exposed coastal areas I find. Sunny 18 degrees feels a lot warmer up in Buxton than it does here with the wind incessantly blowing. Quite showery unsettled weather too, rained every day I've been here.
Last month after I had a surgery I had a bad experience. I was brought home after but still could feel the effects of all the drugs they put into me so I sat down for a few minutes. I then got up suddenly(mistake) and walked about 10 feet then started to feel VERY hot THEN the world started spinning. I awoke on the floor ten minutes later to dog barking like crazy. First time I ever fainted. Was lucky I didn't hit my head on the stone counter which was 2 feet away.

The week I'm in Florida. What have I done to deserve this
I know the feeling. Kinda like how I felt when I got to the shore of Lake Superior last July expecting to see cool summer weather only to have it feel just like Ft Lauderdale, dewpoints in the mid 70's and all. Of course, I didn't mind the thunderstorms and heavy tropical downpours....lol.
Hopefully you'll see some weather before you come back, like I did when I got to experience highs in the 60's on the last full day in the UP.

But you have 60s in winter at least. This could be my last shot at cloud-to-ground lightning until next June. It's weird how Jacksonville, Orlando, most surrounding areas seem to have a better chance, perhaps it will change again. Regardless, a whole week of 75F lows is going to be great.
