Suburbs are very inefficient and can be wasteful (utilities, gasoline, etc.), but they definitely have their benefits. Fresh air, trees, green space, etc. Cities may have small sections of this, but it's not as widespread as in some suburban and rural areas.
Depends on the city. For example if it's NYC or Turku. Our cities are rather green and you're never too far either from the nearest park or even the countryside. I get your point, though.

Also trying to check the radar netweather infected my computer with ph£%^58king malware causing me to have to do a full system restore and other crap..... what a dreadful website it really is. Same here the rain reached here but the thunder stopped in the isle of man.
National No Severe Thunderstorms Warning

The Met Centre has issued a warning for No Severe Thunderstorms valid today 7th June 2014 and onwards to 31st August. Please take care to heed the advice in this warning, for your own safety. Make sure that all electrical devices are plugged in because you will not need to worry about lightning damage. Do not stay away from windows because there is no risk of hail, winds, or frequent lightning. Do not not go out driving during the worst of the weather because we never heard of overcast and drizzle being severe enough to cause flash flooding. Do not go indoors when you don't hear the frequent thunder. Don't not stand under a tree.
You poor thing. Wish my daddy was taking me on vacation.
