I found Paris a tad overrated. yes the city is beautiful but nothing really what is written in guide books. The city is stuck in a time warp and so many homeless people. Much prefer the vibrancy and change of London. Really liked provence though. Arguably the most beautiful part of france.

Could hostels save a bunch money? Or you'd rather pass. That sounds like that's just for Paris, not for the other cities. Or were the other cities mentioned for future years?

The others were for future cities, I could look into hostels to save money... Or I could do a b&b

Yes we aren't connected to Europe so its mainly just cars and planes here.
