I have no idea what this is. Seems like this song never became popular here. It's catchy though.
It was the craze in the late 90's, but apparently didn't make it in the UK. Was for long the number one single in Finland, Sweden and Denmark. And I still like it!
I remember doing the macarena on our final day of primary school in 1999.
Yes, I actually recall doing it in primary school that year as well. Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and Nickelodeon were at their height during this time period as well. Ah the good old days.

7 albums in just 3 years.
Final craze before Darude - Sandboke.
Sandstorm was pretty big here, and still one of my favourite songs. It was at number 3 on the charts.
The macarena? Oh dear... I think I hated that song the first time I ever heard it and I've never stopped hating it. I've thoroughly hated it for most of my life, literally, come to think of it!

Oh yea that. I have it on my computer, don't know how it got there. That was fun, though not really my style. I think a friend might have showed me that song.
Terrible song. I prefer 1989's "Lambada". This was before my time. The earliest dance craze I remember is the macarena
My mom bought the CD that Lambada was when it was popular. I remember it being played a bunch of times and then getting forgotten. I added to my computer some years ago. Associate it with hot weather.
