Desperate = less picky

I used to be quite shy but then I started working out and just not caring anymore, then I met my gf. I'm 28 and hadn't been in a relationship before my current one.

Just download tinder or something and you'll quickly learn to not act so desperate when you have tens or hundreds of matches.

I don't mean people literally want to be depressed, but their behavior implies it. Constantly lingering on negative thoughts instead of taking action to solve what is bothering them. You can't get anywhere by stagnating in your own filth.

I think G8RCAT should start working out. It does help out with your self-confidence a bit.

And also just because you don't have a degree, doesn't make you an uneducated savage good grades don't automatically make someone intelligent. I know many people who get good grades in school but are completely stupid when it comes to real life matters.

And having a degree doesn't make you a better person or more intelligent.
Having a degree definitely doesn't make one smarter. I only went to college because my parents pretty much forced it on me, but I did want to at least have the chance of getting a semi-decent job. I work with someone who has a Master's degree and they're not that bright. Work experience is more valuable IMO. College isn't the real world. That said, I am still happy to have the degree.

I worked in a 'low grade' job until last year and honestly I kind of miss it, despite having to work outside in horrible conditions half the time. I turned down an offer to become manager of my department. I'm finding the '9-5' grind soul sucking...dealing with absurd amounts of traffic, sitting in an office doing mind-numbing boring tasks, etc. But I have to do it to pay bills and I need the health insurance so I can't go back. Plus it's nice having a steady schedule and not working weekends/holidays.

I decided not to push it forward, she became a bit evasive for a time, and I took a hint from that. Also, I learnt some things of her I didn't feel too comfortable with. In other words, I think she turned me down before I even could start.

But that ass... she still lives here, so hope it will be a warm summer and I encounter her walking in a tight little skirt.

G8RCAT, have you ever had a female friend? And I don't mean you sat next to her in class and never said a word to her. I mean, have you actually ever talked to a girl in a casual way that isn't related to you by blood? Talked to her as in, more than just a meek little hi or how's the weather or this professor sucks right?
