That is one of the worst on the planet. This could be one of the cities that will become uninhabitable during mid-summer by the end of the century. Without a space suit (outside) or A/C (inside) I mean.

The countries that will be so hot by 2100 humans won

The averages quoted in Wikipedia are totally wrong, and I know some websites which can prove it. I believe the climate data for Ahwaz is nearly true but not for Kuwait City except for August, indeed the average high for Ahwaz is 45.3 °C in August not 46.2 °C. These desert cities know extreme heat during summer, I agree with you but aren't as hot as you may think. Maybe you all don't want to recognize the Sahara desert is the hottest place on Earth because it's an African desert or something like that. And even though the averages highs for Kuwait City you quoted were true (this isn't the case but let's say it is), some spots in the Sahara desert such as Taoudenni or Hassi Bou Bernous have higher averages highs, that often exceed 47 °C.

Averages highs for Taoudenni, Mali : 46.6 °C in June, 47.9 °C in July, 46.8 °C in August
Averages highs for El Guettara, Mali : 46.4 °C in June, 46.7 °C in July, 45.4 °C in August
Averages highs for Chenachen, Algeria : 44.5 °C in June, 48.3 °C in July, 46.7 °C in August
Averages highs for Hassi Bou Bernous, Algeria : 44 °C in June, 47.6 °C in July, 45.8 °C in August

And there are many other places which have similar averages highs!
Climate of Kuwait City, Kuwait Average Weather
Can you tell me the source of temperature data for these four locations in Mali and Algeria.

^I think tpactionreplay often used to make outrageous claims about the Sahara without really providing adequate sources to support any of those claims. So it is advisable not to believe the things he says in the earlier pages of this thread.

^The Wikipedia source (Infoclimat) is not credible and only has 2010-17 data (https://www.infoclimat.fr/climatologie/globale/reggane-airport-adr/60645.html). Can you find anything from Algeria's meteo department?
