To record 36.9C at 66N, I would think that's remarkable, whether it is an island or not. Sweden lies much higher up than the UK.
Anchorage at 61N. Highest July temp is 29C, however some Russian stations at around 60-65N have recorded temperatures as high as our record too.
Yes that is pretty impressive, puts our records to shame really.. although I am guessing that the April, September and October records are probably quite a bit lower than ours?

April and May records are less than a degree colder here. But that's if you compare Sweden to London. Does London hold the heat record for April and May in the UK? If so, we are not that far off.
But September and October we are a couple of degrees off No 30C+ temperature recorded here for September yet

Most records apart from November, December, January and surprisingly September are from London or around the area I think
Yeah London holds the records for April and May, at 29.4C (which was actually recorded mid month so that is quite impressive that it still holds since 1949) and 32.8C.
35.6C happened in September in Yorkshire of all places, but London reached 35C, that was back in 1911.. I guess you are attached to the continent so it makes sense that you can get such warmth
My hometown heat records (station at 1019 meters of altitude, from 1931 to 2010), don't seem too different to the Sweden and Uk ones
January 15.2
February 17.6
March 21.9
April 24.5
May 27.7
June 33.4
July 38.3
August 35.6
September 36.0
October 27.0
November 21.3
December 17.1
In which months are Sweden and Uk records higher than these ones?

The UK has higher records in all months apart from July (36.5c) and September (35.6c). Our August record is higher than your July though.
Did one for the nordic mainland, and the country holding the heat/cold-record for the respective month there. Some interesting patterns can be seen.
norway has the heat records in the winter months, sweden in the summer months and denmark in the transition months. also interesting that finland holds the nordic all-time low for august and september. not what i'd expected.
