Try driving in the mid 80's with leather seats. Sweaty back really irritates you as a driver.

The truck I drove before had dark seats made of the hottest, stickiest felt material you can imagine. Plus a shiny black plastic dashboard and a large sunroof that couldn't be covered, just every heat-building thing possible stuffed into one cab. My back would sweat driving if it was so much as 50F and the sun was out, simply the worst design of an auto interior ever. Now my new car is perfectly comfortable even with fresh 80 degree air blowing in, and the rubber steering wheel doesn't get half as hot as the other one. Just one of its many vast improvements.

Never I don't even have A/C at home. I had AC in Malaga but we have barely used it. With temperatures below 30C I have never felt the need to turn it on to be honest.

Edit: I didn't read correctly. No, I don't have a car but when I'm driving I always turn it OFF when it is hot and ON when it is cold.

It depends. If my wife is in the car it goes on if the temp is above 60 and the sun is out. If it is just me then it all depends on the humidity. A dew point above 75F or a temp above 95F will cause me to turn it on.

Depends, even temps like 15C with high sun angle could make the car inside temp 40-50C within 10-15 minutes, (even get hot faster in darker cars) and the darker components including steer wheel would be even hotter and too hot to touch, without AC, it really depends, for me its about 25-28C inside I need AC, for some occasions I enjoy "sunbathing" (left in car) for few minutes in morning sun with room temperature outside, I do not drive though

Set at 21C usually

I never use a/c in the car, windows open is far better. Even earlier this month when we hit 37C, I still drove with the windows open.

I do it if I have to drive on the highway or if I'm stuck in traffic, but if I drive on a country road I'd rather drive with the windows wide open.

Usually above 30c, less if it's humid out.

Over 70 F on the interstate, otherwise I'd have the windows down below 90 F.

On the interstate A/C is on when the outside temperature is over 65-75F depending on cloudiness.

Otherwise I have the windows down up to 82-83F
