Come to Atlanta, then. Lots of sun here. We prolly won't get a drop of rain for weeks, either. You just can't win with the weather in the lovely Southeast.
Sorry but Palm trees in Northern Europe look diseased and very out of place.
I agree.
Not only do they seem to look out of place in high latitude Europe in terms of climate (lower sun angles, cooler/more rainy/snowy weather)....but the buildings in much of Europe look silly with palms in front of them. I think palms need a low latitude, sun belt, beachy location to look like they belong. The bright tropical sunlight, modern architecture, and colors seems to work better in places like Florida, Cal, the Caribbean...etc than places like the UK that is often gray and drab with old fashioned buildings.
