July 13, 2014 Harvest.

Best part of summer.

Stopped at 72 potatoes. I probably have close to 200 including the front bed.
Leaving the rest in for another week at least. Leaving them outside for 1 hour outside so soil falls off (trying to beat the rain) Then bringing them into a cool dark ventilated place.

Bunch of Onions and some Radishes.

Corn almost ready.
Nice harvest. Never tried potatoes or radishes. I grow onions in the fall and winter just for the green tops to use as chives. I pull them up in spring and replant in the fall.

A large tomato harvest from last week. I've been freezing them to use later and giving some away.

On the way back climbed to a hill and made some photos from North-East Estonian landscape. These hills there are artificial- because of deep-level oli-shale mines.

At times I really do wish I could experience a treeless state here just so I can have wide view anywhere of the hills and terrain.

Was in Ridgefield, CT not far from me and while driving up and down hilly roads I had a "peek" through the trees in the distance and it looked awesome with the drops and the rises and the hills in the distance...... but pointless for a camera shot.

This was the only shot I had and it was too close and too low for anything interesting. No storm chasing around here.

Interesting. lol

Storms broke apart over me. Only .18" of rain fell putting the monthly total so far at 4.75 inches.

Here's a 5:50pm view looking northwest.

Time lapse camera up there capturing every minute of the sky since yesterday. I wont know if it captured the pictures until I go get it maybe tomorow

As I watch lightning flashes and hear the thunder this was my backyard 5 months ago.

I can live with this all year round. Man I miss this with a passion.

I was yesterday with my child at a waterpark in east-Estonia. Some dark clouds in the sky, air 26c.
