1) Breckenridge
2) Truckee
3) Moscow

I think the links may be broken. You should still be able to copy/paste them.

My three favorite climates are all in the USA, so I'll do one per continent. South America, Africa and Oceania don't come close to my ideal, so there's Europe and Asia left. Not sure if they are absolute favorites, but all three are pretty darn good.

1. Davenport (not snowy enough)
2. Rostov-on-Don (too dry)
3. Morioka (too cloudy in winter, probably too stable?)

Wow, you sure do like the continental climates. It sounds like you don't like stability in temps.

I don't mind stable temps, especially if the weather is confortable (say, 80/60°F and partly cloudy), but sometimes I want some whacky weather. The Midwest, with adequate precipitation year-round thanks to Gulf moisture and the lack of a strong continental high, plus its sunny summers with plenty enough thunderstorms, is hard to beat.

I don't consider the vast majority of the Tibetan Plateau to be Himalayas (only the area along the fault line qualifies), so Yunnan is east of said plateau and isn't southern Himalayan.
