Yes, I have, when I lived in Florida - and I had to deal with those people in real life.

Owen is *nothing* compared to those folks.
Florida was better as a decidedly Southern state. Unfortunately, it's been overrun by Northerners, retirees, the self-entitled, etc. The worst part of the worst generation in American history.

The baby boomers?

Anyway, most of the south strikes me as being backwards, so I'm not sure I'd enjoy living there. Different strokes.

Well, they are pretty much universally despised. Nobody likes them here either.

Just after I moved there, someone told me that Florida is the "sump drain" of America, that collects the undesirable parts of society. And he was absolutely right...lol.

I could write novels about my experiences there - good grief. What I could never understand was the way businesses ran roughshod over the customer - like restaurants giving me grief over coupons. Or refusing to serve you at all...just because. There are certain restaurants I refuse to eat at today, 15 and 20 years on, because of the crapola way I was treated in Florida.

And the prices - I never could figure out why my money was worth so much less there than the rest of the US. Not to mention the crime - I actually caught a guy trying to break into my house, and I had to testify in court against him - of course, he was a career criminal.

I could go on and on, but you get the idea. I don't miss that state one bit...lol.

Cool - when do you plan on moving north? Atlanta is "hot" right now - highest job growth in the nation right now.

The day I found out that I would get to move out of the state (November 2004) was honest-to-goodness the happiest day of my life. I darned near hit my head against the ceiling I was jumping so high...lol.

Lol, don't know. I'll have to get through at least another 4 years in this hellhole. Maybe I'll get out of here after college.

The Lahti supporters showed their class... again. HJK has two Japanese players and the Lahti supporters kept chanting "Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Fukushima hey hey hey"...
