Meteorological fall starts in a couple days but it won't feel like it. Closest fall-like weather we've had was in July! I wonder if the coolish summer means we'll have to pay for it with 90s in October.

Judging by cambium's post, I think lows will fail to drop below 60 all September in the Northeast, and possibly stay at 70+ for the south. Now that just sucks balls .

Bastardi's analogs for the Fall favor a ridge over the eastern US. So good news for those of us who live a mild autumn




and the Japanese model says the same thing...





Now check out what those same analogs show for the upcoming winter. Eastern US get's frozen?

Start of meteo Fall looking Very Warm in the East

Aside from the influx of moisture from the gulf and the tropical feel in the air this morning and next 4 days, temps will be above normal as well unless clouds have last say.


Here's the max temp forecast for Tuesday. Heat Indexes should be in the upper 80s/90s
