Pathetic. This may as well be a visual representation of the past two years. Ultra warm here, cold everywhere else. But my day will come.

Wow, complete opposite here nearing 80F.

Yeah where's the storm? They're gonna call this a NorEaster with this High pressure? I'm still waiting for winds to top 10mph and rain almost done I got 0.15" now. lmao.

High Pressure over New England won this battle. No Storm.

Free Joe Bastardi Video. He mentions a lot about the warmth, even claps his hands at 4:55 mark because his tranquil Fall prediction is looking good.

Good 10 minute informational video. Take note in the very beginning. The NWS forecasts we all use are based on American models only (not Euro/Canadian/Ect).

Another update from WSI Energy

A shift in the large scale pattern may result in changeable and stormy conditions across the nation next week

Quote:
Bottom line: The large scale pattern supports the development of a frontal system over the central US next week. This may pump warmer and more humid air northward, though this may fuel a thunderstorm risk. Cooler air is expected to spill in behind this system across the Rockies into the central US by the end of the period, though this may initiate Santa Ana winds across So. Cal. Ultimately changeable conditions are expected next week, which in combination with model variability hamper confidence levels with the details.

Europe in the medium range

Quote:
Nevertheless, mean temperature anomalies could dip well below normal as that blocking high pulls in a much cooler east to north-easterly flow. Temperature anomalies could reach as low as -2 to -5C, locally -7C (06z GFS OP) across Central, Central-eastern and much of south-east Europe.
As you can see, the 16Z is bringing much colder temps for a good chunk of the "Old World" (12Z on the left)

Willingston, Sloulin Field International Airport (KISN), ND Clear Skies 96°F. Thats 32 above normal for the hour. Northern Plains 15-30 above

Edit: Willingston has never been this hot so late in the year. Previous 'latest' 96°F+ is Sept. 17

Edit Edit: Have to go back to 2005 when Williston last went above 96° in all of September.

Edit Edit Edit:

Yeah, that's crazy. I see Winnipeg has dewpoints in the 60s again. End of September. Meanwhile a freeze is upon them very soon probably like in 10 days and who knows maybe snow soon too. lol
