Here is my backyard this morning... biggest snowfall I've since I experienced twice this amount in a single dump in November 1990.

Subzero till the new england coast. My GF in Spokane experienced subzero lows last week.

Meanwhile down south, they are saying "FRIGID" for a sunny 39 F afternoon .

NICE! Meanwhile.... No break here. Just as I thought. The Appalachian Mountains will break apart the Clipper coming across. Had a chance to get a 2-4" dump, now hoping for an inch.

Today in Amherst, Massachusetts thanks to the Midwestern US anticyclone: 3/-3°C (38/26°F) and sunny.

Today in Madison, Wisconsin because of the Midwestern US anticyclone: -18/-22°C (0/-7°F) and cloudy.

Note that the high in Amherst was at midnight today, low now, continous temperature drop.

I feel the pain. In fact tomorrows Snow total forecast is just mocking me. Little more snowflakes might fall just south of me.

Might be going into February without a big snowstorm at this pace.
