March 2006 had an average minimum of -11.3C
December 2010 here was like an average December in Stockholm.

I don't think so.

I think we could get a -15c high at a big big push.

That's the coldest the UK has ever recorded so it would take something exceptional for that to happen.

Even if you split Europe into only West and East, Sweden will lie in the West, and Finland on the East
Stockholm is 1,000 miles from me near the atlantic and it is at the same longitude at Hungary which is in Eastern Europe so yes..

We managed a high of -9c here and -11.3c in Northern Ireland.

I am further north than you, but wasn't quite that cold: We had average lows of -10C and -10.6C (Voll 127 m) in January and December 2010. Extremely cold months.

I don't want a Greenland block the coming winter.
But I don't want rain and slush all winter either.
I would prefer quiet weather with -3C and a decent snow cover on the ground. If not cold enough for that, then rather mild enough to melt all snow and ice on the ground.

Don't be so sarcastic. A high of -11c is not cold in the world.

-11.3C high is very easy to get here in Sweden, wherever you are.

I said March 2006 had an average minimum of -11.3C, what are you talking about?

Northern Ireland isn't cold at all
