I'd give it a B, Summers are awesome, except the lows which are a bit too high, and Winters are a little bit too cold.
Yep unfortunately the Observatory of Athens has just 9 years of data worth for Palaiochora so far.I think Ierapetra again in the south of Crete (SE) has data worth of 40+ years from Greece's metoffice but SE Crete has a totally different climate compared to SW.

Also correct me if I am wrong but I think even areas in the Canary's have lower than 20.7C mean annual temps though most are around 21C.

Yes it will be bone dry with constant sunshine June-September, however humidity will be high by the coast which is what I meant. This is why it would feel worse than Miami, as it would be oppressively humid but also with the sunshine blazing down constantly, unlike Miami where they get respite from thunderstorms

However, the rest of the year is simply perfect, and the summers only need a few degrees taken off from the lows and highs to become ideal
I've been there (and Sfakia), it's nowhere near as humid as Miami...

In fact, I'm have a taste of Crete right now
