Well they are classified as a tundra as no month averages over 10C and trees can't grow there.

I know there are quite a few people on here who don't like hot summers and Lugano can get some pretty hot days.

Just goes to show that in climate, latitude is often useless in predicting climate.

Lugano. Oceanic and coolness are great, but I want some kind of summer. Seasons are important.

I'm a cold lover but mostly between November and March. But since i want to have a real as well summer though the choice is obvious Lugano.

Another plus, i haven't been there yet but since its very close to the Alp chain it probably sees frequent thunderstorms during the summer months, looking at that rainfall.
