It's tough to relate unless you live in this area and your body adjusts. After a year, 50F / 10C just isn't cold at all anymore. Temps reach 50+ for 7-8 months out of the year. Here in late October, we are consistently 55-60F highs with 40-45 lows. Your body grows accustomed to 60F being "warm," which it reaches 6 months out of the year.
On the converse, people I know who have moved to warmer climates still don't care for the insane heat.
