Last one. Nothing exciting with the latest GFS! I think we're done with this one except higher elevations.

Sunday morning 7am. Lake effect snows over NY. 991mb low in Atlantic too far north and east for anyone.

Hopefully you got an idea how to read the model with these posts at least. Euro out at 2pm.

Bernie Video. Watch it guys if you like weather!!

Snow Total Forecast.

Normal first snow for Pittsburgh is November 14th so if any flakes stick it will be 2 weeks early.

Not in the U.S. but Environment Canada is forecasting 2-10 cm of snow depending on the area for Friday and Saturday in areas about 100 km north of Toronto and northwest of Ottawa. Around Georgian Bay and the Upper Ottawa Valley.

They are also saying that New Brunswick could get 30 cm if the temperature stays cold enough on the weekend. Or it could be all rain.

Lake effect could spit out a couple inches of snow in northwest Indiana tomorrow evening/night depending on exactly how it sets up.

THESE EARLY SEASON LAKE EFFECT EVENTS ARE ALWAYS TRICKY WITH P-TYPE AS THE VERY COLD AIR ALOFT...AROUND -8 TO -10C AT 850MB WOULD SOLIDLY SUPPORT SNOW DESPITE WARM WATER TEMPS IN THE 50S STILL. HAVE GONE WITH RAIN OR SNOW SHOWERS FOR NOW...BUT THINK THE FARTHER INLAND AWAY FROM THE LAKE YOU GET THE BETTER CHANCE WILL BE FOR ALL SNOW SHOWERS FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING INTO NW INDIANA. GIVEN THE POTENTIAL FOR THUNDERSTORMS AND ADDED DYNAMIC COOLING AM CONCERNED THAT SOME PORTIONS OF NW INDIANA...ESPECIALLY A BIT INLAND FROM THE LAKE...COULD END UP WITH A SLUSHY COUPLE INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION ON GRASSY SURFACES BY FRIDAY EVENING...THOUGH CONFIDENCE IS TOO LOW TO HIT THAT TOO HARD AT THIS TIME.

Pittsburgh's in the Northeast US. But anyhow, it depends on where in the Northeast. Syracuse is very different from Boston despite being at about the same latitued. Early November snowfall would uncommon in most places, especially near the coast, except for a few flakes that don't stick.
