Wanted to put Perth in but felt that it was too similar to Adelaide's.

One is Mediterranean, one humid subtropical. Brisbane has considerably more rain but on about the same amount of rainy days, and is also sunnier. Rainfall patterns are reversed in summer and winter.

Both are A climates and I have a hard time deciding. Adelaide has cooler nights in summer which makes better sleeping weather. Brisbane has more humid nights which makes better summer rain and thunderstorms. Both have comfortably mild, but noticibly cooler weather in winter with Adelaide's slightly cooler than L.A. and Brisbane slightly warmer than L.A.

At the end I voted for Brisbane just for the extra warmth and thunderstorm chances.

Adelaide for less humidity and some coolness in summer.

Brisbane is too humid and thoroughly hot in summer. Though I like its winters.

Humid subtropical beats med every time.

Brisbane has a nice summer max for precipitation. It still doesn't look nearly humid enough, but it seems like all Australian locations are lower than expected on wikipedia, so maybe they measure it differently?

Brisbane easily, I used to live there in the CBD and only needed AC for maybe a week in the summer. There is always a breeze. It's also very stable temperature-wise compared to Adelaide, which can have rainy 18-20c days and then 35-40c days in summer. A 'cold' summer day in Brisbane is typically drizzly and 22-25c, and a hot day is about 32-33c! It usually sits around 29-30 every day.

Brisbane without a doubt. The mild winters and marginal sunshine are the winning factors.

Humidity is measured at 9am and 3pm.

Wiki uses 3pm data.
